Volunteer Opportunities for 2012
We always need volunteer help with our regular opportunities such as, Prepare and Share a Meal; however, we also need special help for our holidays and events we hold throughout the year. This page will be regularly updated, so check back and see what our latest event is.
Special Event Volunteer Needed for Development Department
The Development Department needs someone who can commit to working 10-12 hours per week on average. Duties will involve acknowledgements, data input and event planning. If you are interested, please contact Jessica Parks, (404) 589-0163 x 103.
Valentine's Day - Tuesday, February 14!
We need you or your group to prepare and share a meal on this day as well as a Valentine's activity and treats for our youth! Meals need to be prepared ahead of time and brought to the shelter by 5:30 pm. This is the opportunity to have a lot of fun with our youth and show them how much we all care about them.
St. Patrick's Day - Saturday, March 17 - Go Green!
We need you or your group to prepare and share a meal on this day as well as a St. Patrick's Day activity and treats for our youth! Meals need to be prepared ahead of time and brought to the shelter by 5:30 pm. This is the opportunity to have a lot of fun with our youth and incorporate something eco-friendly to play upon the theme.
Easter - Sunday, April 8
We need you or your group to prepare and share a meal on this day as well as an Easter activity and treats for our youth! Meals need to be prepared ahead of time and brought to the shelter by 5:30 pm. This is the opportunity to have a lot of fun with our youth while maintaining the significance of the day.
